"Pregnancy Glow" is gross
If you ever say to a pregnant lady that she has a "pregnancy glow" to compliment her on how "shiny" she looks, DON'T! You might think she looks "glowing" because she is full of happiness with the upcoming mommyhood and that the emotion reflects on her face and she can't hide it.
If you didn't know, the so called "Pregnancy Glow" is the cause of oil glands working in over-drive which is the result of extra crazy hormones a body of a pregnancy woman produces. This, will leave her face all shiny. And of course, she can't hide it.
Women are generally sensitive about their appearance, complexion and all. You are essentially telling her that her face is greasy. It's pretty gross.
I used to be the asshole who would say to a pregnant lady: awww you look so good. You have that pregnancy glow! Now I know what that is, I will never say it to anyone and I definitely don't need to hear it from anyone.
So thank you but no thank you. Don't need to let me know I have the "pregnancy glow" to compliment how good I look. I know I look good, even though I am fat. Well, I guess I do have to put some pictures up to PROVE IT! However, I have been hit on so much more nowadays than before I was pregnant, considering the extra load putting on my chest and my rear end. I also got hit on a lot more before I was married. When that didn't happen much anymore I was worried, and I wasn't sure what went wrong with me?!
Heck yes, I enjoy fully of all the attention I could get, even though it can come randomly from construction workers on the side of the street. Apparently my bulging belly does not bother them.
